Hip-Healthy Groswaddle makes swaddling your baby even easier…

Swaddling can provide comfort for young babies by making them feel warm and secure; it also stops them from being disturbed by their startle reflex. However, as parents ourselves, we fully appreciate how difficult swaddling can be! It can be tricky to master at the best of times and at 2am you’re tired, you want minimum disruption to your little one and the last thing you need is to get stuck trying to re-swaddle your baby after a night feed!

Making parents lives easier is built into every aspect of what we do here at Gro HQ, so we created the Hip-Healthy Groswaddle to help make swaddling much easier. It has no complicated fastenings and is made from 100% soft cotton so baby will be snug and comfortable.

There is divided opinion when it comes to swaddling and with more and more parents becoming aware of infant’s hip development; we wanted to create a swaddle that gave parents peace of mind that their babies were sleeping in a hip healthy way. This new design has an innovative pocket which will ensure baby’s hips can’t be swaddled too tightly. The roomy pocket also means baby won’t get chilly toes by kicking themselves free and they can naturally sleep in the ‘froggy’ leg position and their hips can move and develop naturally.

As with all our products, safety is our top priority, and we are very pleased to have recognition from the International Hip Dysplasia Institute that the Groswaddle is a ‘hip-healthy’ product when used as directed.

Under arm swaddling

For babies that don’t take to swaddling, we have made it super easy to swaddle under the arms too, so they still get that snug comforting feeling without being fully swaddled. This also makes the Hip-Healthy Groswaddle a great transition up to the Grobag baby sleep bags when baby is ready.
