What to wear with your Groromper

What to wear

A Groromper is a wearable blanket that will keep your baby at a comfortable temperature all night long. This table shows our guidance on the correct fabric weight of Groromper and clothing to be used in different room temperatures.

A number of factors determine the tog rating of the Groromper that should be used. These include the number of clothes your baby is wearing, the temperature of their bedroom and your baby’s health. The Groegg nursery thermometer can give you a quick, at a glance reassurance of the nursery temperature so you can pick the appropriate tog.  As all babies are different we would always recommend checking the back of the neck or chest to check baby is not too hot.

Which Size?

An ideal time to start using a Groromper is when your baby weighs more than 21lbs 13ozs/9.9kg. Your child’s head should not be able to pass through the neck hole when the Groromper is fastened; otherwise the Groromper is too big. Remember to check the weight of your child before letting them sleep in a Groromper.

Please remember that these are recommendations only as all babies are different.
